Demolition should clear the way forward, not become a roadblock

Jorge Balseiro began his entrepreneurial journey in 1998 after arriving in the United States from Cuba with his family. His dedication and tireless work ethic fueled the establishment of J.Z. Drywall Inc., a business known for quality and reliability.

Motivated by his family, Jorge partnered with his grandson, Alexander DeArmas, to launch JZ Demolition in 2021. Together they carried a commitment to excellence and innovation into a new generation of the construction industry.

Jorge passed away in June 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. His resilience, determination, and vision continue through the family, the team, and the JZ Group businesses he helped inspire.

JZ Demolition works with contractors, developers, and property owners across South Florida. The team brings hands-on experience in structural demolition, selective interior demolition, site clearing, complete building removals, interior gut-outs, and debris hauling.

Modern equipment, efficient methods, and close communication allow the company to tailor its approach to both smaller renovations and large commercial scopes while keeping the site safe, organized, and ready for what follows.
